Dr. Sumer Bahadur Singh of Lalpur, the patron of MU20 School of Opportunity, draws upon his vast experience as an educator in India and abroad for 50 years and it is no wonder his former students include Heads of prominent schools, Army Generals, Cabinet Ministers, Entrepreneurs, Secretaries in the Government, environmentalists, film makers, actors, authors, artists and members of European royalty. He has been recognized with an Honorary Doctorate by De Montford University in the United Kingdom and a Lifetime Achievement award by Education World.
Throughout his illustrious career in the education sector, Dr. Sumer Singh has held various positions of great importance, including Advisor Education to the Government of Punjab, Chairman, Indian Public Schools Conference, and as a Trustee and Advisor on the Executive Board of Round Square, UK. He has also served on the Boards of Global Connections, Mayo College General Council, Lawrence School, Lovedale, AFS India and as a member of G20. He is currently a Council Member on the Board of World Leading Schools Association, President of the Boarding Schools Association of India, on the Board of Info Beans Technologies and Patron of the AFS India School Committee.
